Faculty Development

The committee is responsible for the monthly ADME Faculty Development Conference Series which occurs on a regular schedule throughout the academic year. The committee arranges the lecture schedule. Most of the speakers are members of the faculty of the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine but outside speakers are occasionally invited. If you have a suggestion for a speaker please contact Jen Corbelli.

The committee is developing the ability to obtain videos of faculty teaching. The committee is interested in collaborating with faculty in using these videos to enhance teaching skills. Anyone interested should contact Robin Maier.

The committee has compiled a list of workshops which have been given at regional and national meetings on teaching skills. The committee will arrange for those workshops to be delivered to a faculty development conference at any department or division which is interested.
